On August 19, 2009 we will officially kick off the Rural Schools Partnership. This event will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, in the Jared Family Community Room at the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, 425 E Trafficway, Springfield, MO.
The Rural Schools Partnership is a comprehensive effort to enhance rural education through alternative resource development, collaboration, and place-based education strategies. The program involves national, regional and local partners, and it includes a significant commitment of charitable dollars, technical assistance and professional support.
